What does the perfect home to clean look like?

From my perspective, the perfect home to clean looks like isn’t some spotless, untouched showroom- those actually stress me out because everything feels breakable and I’m afraid to move anything. It’s more about a place that’s lived-in but respectful: real people live there, but they’ve made it easy and pleasant for me to do a great job without drama.

Why did you apply to Tidy?

I like the company’s core values. And it feels like home because I have some friends who have been working here for a long time already. I feel safe and belong.

What is the most challenging part of your job?

Hands down, time management, the unexpected messes, like walking into a “quick tidy” that turns out to be post-party disaster mode with food stuck to ceilings or mystery stains I have to puzzle out. Also dealing with super dusty rooms or basements that make me sneeze for hours.

What is the most enjoyable part?

The transformation! I love that “before and after” feeling when a place goes from chaotic to fresh, clean, and calm in a few hours. It is so satisfying- like I helped someone breathe easier in their own space. Most of all, the human connections make the physical work feel worth it.
