Checklist deep cleaning

Every room

Floors and textiles

• Vacuuming along skirting boards, under beds, sofas, and other furniture where accessible
• Mopping of the entire floor area, including areas normally left untouched during regular weekly cleaning
• Vacuuming of sofas, armchairs, and beds – seat, back, underneath, and behind
• Smaller rugs are shaken outdoors; larger rugs are vacuumed on both sides

Surfaces and details

• Wiping of all accessible surfaces, including windowsills, tables, and countertops – also underneath loose items
• Cleaning of skirting boards, door frames, and thresholds
• Cleaning of doors, including handles and the entire door surface
• Wiping of light switches, electrical outlets, and radiators
• Cleaning of lamps and larger items left out

Other

• Polishing of mirrors without streaks
• Emptying of all waste bins
• Changing bed linens if clean textiles are left out

👉 Difference from standard cleaning:

This service includes more detailed cleaning (example: doors, skirting boards, under furniture and upholstered furniture), not just visible surfaces

 

Kitchen

Work surfaces and sink area

• Cleaning of the sink, tap, and surrounding area
• Wiping of the entire kitchen countertop, including behind items that are temporarily moved
• Cleaning of tiles above work surfaces, including grout where dirt is visible

Appliances and equipment

• Wiping all surfaces of the stove (hob and front)
• Cleaning the inside of the microwave
• Wiping the exterior of the fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and extractor fan
• Cleaning of the extractor fan filter
• Cleaning of the dishwasher filter

Storage

• Wiping of cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and handles
• Cleaning the inside of the cabinet under the sink

This service includes more internal cleaning tasks and filter cleaning - not just exterior surfaces

 

Bathroom

Sanitary fixtures

• Cleaning of the toilet – seat, lid, exterior, and surrounding areas
• Cleaning of the sink, tap, and surrounding area

Shower and bathtub

• Cleaning of the shower/bathtub, including mixer, glass walls, and visible grout
• Where accessible: cleaning underneath the bathtub

Surfaces and storage

• Cleaning of tiles where splashes and buildup are present
• Wiping of bathroom cabinets externally
• Cleaning inside cabinets if they are emptied

Machines and functions

• Wiping the exterior of the washing machine and tumble dryer
• Cleaning of the detergent drawer and filters
• Cleaning/unclogging of the floor drain

👉 Difference from standard cleaning:

This service includes tasks such as floor drain cleaning, filters and internal surfaces - items that are not part of regular maintenance cleaning

• Window cleaning (set price instead of hourly rate – ask us for a price estimation)

The same hourly rate as usual is applied for all additional services, except for the window cleaning which comes with a set price based on your home.

Please contact us in advance if you wish to add any service to your next cleaning. We can often make sure to combine it with your scheduled cleaning, but at times a new occasion will have to be scheduled.
